Best Cat Breeds for Murrieta Apartment Living

Russian Blue Cat Walking Around the Legs of Their OwnerIn regards to pets, cats are much better suited to Murrieta apartment life. Many are quiet, clean, and eager to curl up with their most loved human. But the reality is, some cat breeds are better adapted for apartment living than others. The breeds that offer the best fit are typically the more social, lower-energy animals that bond properly with their people. We selected seven breeds that rank among the best suited for apartment life.

1.   British Shorthair

This short-haired cat is a favorite for apartment-dwellers because they are independent but still kind. While British Shorthairs love to play, at any moment playtime is finished, they are low-key and tend to entertain themselves. They make great apartment pets because they entail little grooming and easily adapt to their owner’s personality and lifestyle.

2.   Persian

If you desire your cats on the quiet but fluffy side, you can’t get better than a Persian. These cats are really beautiful and sweet, preferring a long nap to unruly play. Persians are about as mellow as it gets. They actually also do well in apartments for the reason that they don’t ask for a lot of space to roam.

3.     Scottish Fold

Scottish Folds are a great fit for apartment life because they are very affectionate but not too clingy. On top of that, these cats are typically relaxed, rarely becoming emotional or frightened. Intelligent and adaptable, Scottish Folds like a stable routine and much tenderness and affection from their owners.

4.   Ragdoll

One of the most popular cat breeds, Ragdolls are big, beautiful, and sociable companions. Very much like Persians, their coats are quite fluffy and may need some extra grooming. However, they are considerably higher on the energy scale than their fluffier cousins. Ragdolls love their people and will want to play and snuggle with you just as much as you will permit them.

5.   Russian Blue

If allergies are an actual concern, you might choose to adopt a Russian Blue. These short-haired cats have fur that is less likely to trigger an allergy attack. But, as a matter of fact, there are several reasons to obtain a Russian Blue for an apartment pet. They are curious, playful, and very loyal to their favorite person.

6.   American Shorthair

If you’re seeking a great family cat, you can’t go wrong with an American Shorthair. These cats are very low-maintenance and love to take a lot of naps. They are usually good with people of all ages as well as other pets. All an American Shorthair requires is a perch by a window and your best back-scratching skills. They could live long lives, making them right for anybody who likes to enjoy and spend lots of years of companionship with their furry friend.

7.   Birman

One other breed with a long, silky coat, Birmans are the friendliest cats around. While they are somewhat challenging to find, Birmans make great apartment pets because they thrive on playing and cuddling with their favorite people. When they are not playing, Birmans are usually dozing or grooming themselves. Indeed, all that hair takes a bit of work to make it look really superb.
